Felice Casorati was an Italian artist known for his figurative paintings and sculptures, often featuring mysterious symbols, rendered from unusual angles and perspectives. Born on December 4, 1883 in Novara, Italy, he studied law at the University of Padua while moonlighting as a painter, with some of his earliest work included in the 1907 Venice Biennale.
