Kudzanai Chiurai

Kudzanai Chiurai is a Zimbabwean artist known for his mixed media works that address social, political and cultural issues. Born in 1981 in Harare, Zimbabwe, he pursued his education at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Chiurai has been recognized with the FNB art prize. His notable peers include Gerald Machona, Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Moffat Takadiwa, Masimba Hwati, Netsai Mukomberanwa, Tapfuma Gutsa, Charles Fernando, Dominic Benhura, and Amanda Shingirai Mushate. His works are exhibited in the Perez Art Museum Miami - PAMM, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa - MOCAA.
