Yvonne Canu, born in 1921 in Meknes, Morocco, was a French painter renowned for her pointillist technique. She studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Influenced by Georges Seurat and inspired by the neo-impressionist movement, her works include vibrant landscapes and coastal scenes. Canu was contemporaneous with Marc Chagall and Jacques Lipchitz. She passed away in 2007 in Paris, leaving behind a legacy celebrated in various European collections.
