Boaz Vaadia was an American and Israeli sculptor known for his work in stone and bronze, exploring the primal connection of man to earth. "I work with nature as an equal partner," he said. "The strongest thing I address is that primal connection of man to earth. It's in the materials I use, the environments I make, and the way I work." Born in 1951 in Gat Rimon, Israel, he studied at the Avni Institute of Art and Design in Jaffa and the Pratt Institute in New York City. Vaadia passed away in 2017. He lived and worked in New York City, New York, United States.
