Frank Bowling is a British artist born in 1936 in Bartica, British Guiana (now Guyana). He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and gained recognition in the 1960s. His works have been exhibited at prestigious institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MFA), the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Bowling is known for his innovative use of color and texture, contributing significantly to the Color Field movement.
