As the exhibition title suggests, there is a temporal quality to the work, an insinuation of impermanence, or of moments caught between past and future. Giorgi’s paintings calibrate these tensions and linger at the threshold of these temporal shifts, as well as the real and the surreal, natural and the artificial.
