Daniel Gordon is an American artist known for his work in photography, particularly photographic portraits and still lifes. "I’m more interested in…showing my hand and letting people see the imperfection," he has expressed about his artistic approach. Born in 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, he studied at Bard College in New York and the Yale School of Art in Connecticut. Influenced by artists such as Paul Cézanne and Henri Matisse, Gordon currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, United States. His works are part of the collections at Foam Fotografiemuseum, Norton Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
