Rudolf Bauer

Rudolf Bauer was a German-born painter who participated in exhibits at the famed avant-garde gallery, Der Sturm, in Berlin. His lyrical abstractions, were included in several group shows with artists like Wassily Kandinksy, Marc Chagall, and Paul Klee. Richly colored and composed with pristine shapes, as seen in his Blue Triangle (1936), his works evoke a hidden mysticism.
