Nick Smith, born in 1984 and originally from Australia, is a British artist known for his pixel-inspired reinterpretations of iconic artworks. After studying interior and furniture design at the Edinburgh College of Art, he developed a signature technique using color chips to construct fragmented, color-coded imagery. His work has been exhibited at institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery. Smith is contemporaneous with British artist Stik, who also offers modern interpretations of traditional visual themes.
