Robert Grosvenor is American sculptor known for his works which are rooted in Minimalism but deviate from its logic. Like Robert Smithson, Grosvenor’s elegant sculptures call to mind archaeological sites and vernacular architecture. “I like things I’ve seen very fast and I don’t remember what they are; but I remember the outline, the image. I’d like my sculptures to be remembered the same way,” he has said.
