"Fission (Green)" (2010) is a sublime, large-scale abstract painting by important emerging Chinese Contemporary artist Yang Yongsheng (China, b. 1971), who is renowned in Asia for his paintings and installation works and whose work is already held in many museum and private collections. This stunning work belongs to Yang's new "Fission" Series of monochromatic, reductive works that explore the subconscious, meditation, and the general range of emotional states once experiences in relation to the outside world. This work measures 39.37 x 31.50 inches (100 cm x 80 cm) is unframed and is in excellent condition.

Yang Yongsheng was born in Qujing, Yunan Province China, graduated from Yanan Fine Arts College in 1991, later received his MFA from Hawaii University. Yang has exhibited in major exhibitions and museum throughout China, Japan, Canada, Taiwan, Cuba and the U.S. His world is held in the permanent collections of:The National Art Museum of China; Beijing International Art Museum, China
