"Hypha Will Cover the World, Litttle by Little" (2009) is an exciting offest lithograph in colors by famous Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. This print is in excellent condition, from an edition of 300, signed and numbered, measures 29.5 x 51 inches (75 x 129.50 cm).

Takashi Murakami, originally coined the term “Superflat”, a post-modern style describing both the aesthetic and conceptual characteristics of the Japanese art today, denying any deep spacial depth. Considered the Warhol of Japan for his fame and factory-style art production at KaiKai KiKi Co, Takashi Murakami is classically trained in historic ‘Nihon-ga’ style at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (BFA, MFA, and Ph.D).

Among his extensive exhibitions, some notable examples include a major retrospective which toured from the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art to the Brooklyn Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt, Germany as well as the Guggenheim in Bilbao (2008-09). He also has had solo shows at the Museum of Modern Art, Doha, Qatar: "Ego"(2012); Gagosian Gallery, London (2011) and the Palace of Versailles in France (2010).
