Very rare oversized color silkscreen prints, two rectangular shaped, and one die cut tondo (circle cut). These prints are inspired by the beachscapes on Long Island and evoke pure minimalist landscape, showing the artist's inherent strength as a colorist. The prints were printed by the artist at his press shop, Chiron Press. Other individuals of this print series were purchased from the artist in the 1960s by the United States Information Agency, operating from 1953 – 1999. This program, established by President Eisenhower, had the mission to broaden dialogue between Americans, US institutions and their counterparts abroad. A significant buyer of Poleskie’s work - the USIA placed his prints on the walls of many United States embassies abroad. Stephen Poleskie has an artistic career spanning over fifty years. All three prints in very good condition.
