Lot Details

From the Giverny Portfolio, made during three trips to Giverny: first in 1977 when the renovation of the gardens began, and then in 1982 and 1983 when the renovation was complete. All of the photographs were made with a Deardorf 8" x 10" view camera on Kodak Vericolor II type L film, using a 300mm Schneider G-Claron lens and an 18" Artar lens. The prints are digital dye-coupler prints, commonly called "type C" prints. They were printed with a Durst Lamda printer on Fuji Crystal Archive paper by Kylie Wright at Laumont Photographics under the supervision of Mr. Shore. Fifty editions were printed of the twenty-five images in the Giverny Portfolio, plus two artist-proof editions.
