In his Untitled, 1985 painting, Salvo uses an inviting, bright color palette to invokes the Italian countryside and highlight the upward reaching Cyprus trees. Through a patient build-up of layers and a subtle shift in color, Salvo emphasizes his organic forms and further strengthens his ability to share with his viewers an experience of watching the sunrise in Italy.
