At the height of his career, Robert Adams explored the landscape and spirit of the American West in photographs that honestly portray the state of Denver, Colorado. Documenting the city between 1968 and 1974, Adams produced a series of banal scenes, such as this image, that while void of any people, candidly represent the city's pedestrian life.
