Exhibiting the amorphous forms often seen in his work, Pierre d’Argyll presents his biomorphic shapes in shades of blues and purples, blending the acrylic pigments like watercolor onto the panels. Painted in 2007, 'Temps Parfait' is an exquisite example of the artist's use of free floating forms and rich palette, set in pairs across each panel.

Born in France (1961), Pierre D’Argyll is a learned painter, sculpture and artist whose background at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, La Sorbonne and the ateliers of Michel Charpentier and later, Gerard Ramon, have distinguished him with the Prize of the Cite International des Arts. His biomorphic forms float free of all dimension, space and time invoking a feeling of infinity. D’Argyll is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and he lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
