"Bottles & Jars XXII" (2011) is a stunning and important oil painting by American female Contemporary artist Peri Schwartz from her famed, decades long “Bottles & Jars" series, where she interprets formal relationships between color, space, and light, both of objects and interior spaces in her studio, ultimately abstracting the traditional still-life in a fresh and unique manner. Schwartz uses tonality and pattern, as well as the relationship between colors, to express physical space and light painting in her iconic palette of ethereal aquas, sage greens and yellows that are contrasted here with deep ruby reds and charcoal black. This painting measures 20 x 30 inches (50.8 x 76.2 cm) is unframed in perfect condition.
