Middle Eastern artist Moazzam Ali (Pakistan, B. 1965) is known for captivating watercolors that celebrate the beauty of the ancient Pakistan and the Indus Valley. His innovative techniques in handling watercolor has won him the title ‘Master of Watercolor’ from the Whitney Museum New York and upon graduating in 1980 from the Karachi School of Art, he won the prestigious ‘First Class’ first prize in his province of Sindh in Pakistan. He has since exhibited widely in Pakistan as well internationally with numerous recognition and commissions from the Pakistan community, as is avidly collected by and a favorite of the country, including the President, Prime Minister, and Governor of Pakistan as well as several foreign consulates as his supporters.
