In his photographs, Michael Wolf explores the complex elements of class through formal and composed architectural photographs. Wolf creates intrigue by taking photographs from viewpoints that create a sense of voyeurism and cause the viewer to wonder where the photographer is standing in order to capture the image. Wolf's oeuvre explores themes that are extremely relevant in our contemporary society, such as the blurring of the public and private sphere, anonymity and individuality, and history and progress.

Wolf’s work can be found in many of the most prominent museums throughout the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH, and the Folkwang Museum, Essen, Germany
