"Welcome the Famous Brands to China (Acrobat Baby)" (2008) is an important and riotous creation of Neo-Pop Contemporary Realism that defines the works of the most famous Chinese Contemporary artist collective working today--the Luo Brothers. This is edition 2 of 8 and is the only edition of this sculpture to ever come to auction. This work is signed, numbered and in excellent condition, measuring 27.55 x 15.75 x 11.00 inches. This work belongs to their most important and highly sought-after "The World's Most Famous Brands Series", defined by the appearance of iconic global Western consumer products, with Coca-Cola or McDonald's often referenced, held aloft in some manner by a Luo Brothers' iconic smiling, "chubby baby"-a symbol of fortune and prosperity in China.

The three Luo Brothers, Luo Wei Dong, Luo Wei Bing and Luo Wei Guo, are internationally famous for these unique, over-the top works in a variety of media mostly lacquer paintings on wooden panels and cast statues out of lacquered fiberglass or bronze. The works are in effect a conglomeration of what makes up their society today. The land of the Luo Brothers' is a saccharine vision that revels and enjoys the day-glo, glossy world of "new" China. Their multi-media works are embraced by an international groups of curators and collectors alike for their unique narratives, themes and materials, and are represented by the top galleries in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Their work is highly sought-after on the primary and secondary markets, world-wide.
