Loomis Dean worked as a photographer for Life Magazine for decades, photographing celebrities, royalties, and circus performers. In total, he shot 52 covers for Life, capturing celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, and Noel Coward. After working with Life, Dean had a very active freelance career for many years.
