"Tree of Life Series (Blue)" (2009), is a stunning color photograph of a lone tree standing in snow, whose leaves are replaced by light bulbs that softly illuminate an ethereal blue sky and its snowy environs and with the tree's bark replaced by shimmering silver leaf. This image is by important Korean photographer Lee Jeong-Lok and belongs to his famous "Tree of Life" series of color photographs. Dimensions: 35.45 x 47.25 inches (90 x 120 cm), from an edition of 6, unframed, in excellent condition and can ship professionally rolled. Will ship from the U.S. Accompanied by formal label that is signed, numbered, with title and year and by a formal certificate of authenticity.
The artist was awarded the Grand Prize from Shinsegae Art Awards in 2006. His work is held in selected Collections including the Daelim Museum of Art, Seoul, Art Bank, and National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea. The artist lives and works in Korea.
