"Tree of Life Series #2-5 (Green)" (2009), is a sublime color photograph depicting a lone tree whose leaves are replaced by a myriad of light bulbs that glow brightly, nearly whiting-out the night sky, as well as illuminating its sliver trunk and the verdant green grass around it. This work belongs to the larger, internationally acclaimed "Tree of Life" Series by one of the most important young Korean photographers working today, Lee Jeong Lok (Korea, b. 1971). This photograph is from an edition of 6, is unframed, measuring 47.25 x 63 inches (120 x 160 cm), is in excellent condition and easily ships world-wide, professionally rolled. This print comes directly from the Studio of the Artist, Korea.

In 1996, Lee Jeong Lok received his B.F.A from Qwangji University, Korea an M.F.A in Photo Design from the Graduate School of Hongik University 1998 and an M.F.A in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York U.S. in 2002. His photographs have been included in top Museum and Gallery exhibitions world-wide, including:
2012: "Mudeung Tales" (TODAY ART MUSEUM, Beijing, China) and also in 2012; Gwangju Biennale - Round Table, in 2011: "Mythology Today", Pohang Museum of Art, Korea and "Magical Country", Yangpyeong Art Museum, Korea. In 2010 his works were exhibited in "On the Cutting Edge: Aspects of Korean Contemporary Photography", at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and in 2009 in "New Digital Age", Novosibirsk State Art Museum, Novosibirsk, Russia and in 2008: "Contemporary Korean Art", Korean Cultural Centre, London, UK. The artist was awarded the Grand Prize from Shinsegae Art Awards in 2006. His work is held in selected Collections including the Daelim Museum of Art, Seoul, Art Bank, and National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea. The artist lives and works in Korea.
