'Candy Series n. co4.' (2009) is a stunning digital c-print photograph by exciting Korean Contemporary photographer Koo Seong Youn (b. 1969). This close-up image of fruits, berries and flowers are in fact made of candy and artificial materials. Shot against a a monochromatic turquoise background, this "everlasting-bouquet" appears verdant and fresh, when it is in fact completely superficial. This is from an edition of 5 measures 23.65 x 35.50 inches (60 x 90 cm) is unframed, can ship rolled and is in excellent condition. This photograph comes directly from the Studio of the Artist, Korea.

Koo Seong Youn was born in 1969 and graduated with a B.A. in philosophy from Songguk University, Seoul in 1994 and a B.F.A. in Photography from Seoul Institute of the Arts in 1997. The artist has exhibited in elite group exhibitions throughout Asia including at the Gana Art Center, Busan and the Seoul Museum of Art, as well as in Beijing at 798 space gallery, CAIS Gallery in Hong Kong, and the Sejong Museum of Art (2012). The artist has had solo exhibitions throughout Asia at Duckwon Gallery, Samzigil Gallery, and Trunk Gallery amongst others. The artist has also participated in Seoul International Photo Festival, Scope Art Fair:New York and The Asia Pacific Contemporary Art Fair: Shanghai. His work is held in a number of permanent collections including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, Art Bank and the Gyoonggi Museum of Modern Art and is sought-after on both the primary and secondary markets.
