German born Klaus Fußmann is a contemporary painter who lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts (Essen) and the Berlin University of the Arts, where he was later appointed professor. Fußmann has been honored with the Villa Romana prize (1972) and with exhibitions at respected cultural institutions such as the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, the Free Academy of Arts in Hamburg and the Kunsthalle Bremen. This impressionistic painting is in excellent condition and is a beautiful example of his work, it’s bright blue hues offsetting a melancholy winter landscape.
