This panel was the “sign in” door (guestbook) for Crash’s first one man show at 51X Gallery in 1983. It was placed at the entrance and everyone tagged on their way into the show. It is tagged by the most important artists of the period. It includes Keith Haring's radiant baby, his most iconic image as well as Kenny Scharf's Fred Flintstone from the Jetsons. These are both iconic images of the period. 51X was one of the very first galleries to open in the East Village and gave shows to many of the most famous graffiti artists. This panel became a fixture in the back room and continued to be tagged throughout the year. This door symbolizes the feeling of the period and the community of artists that hung out there. Tagged by: DONDI, FUTURA 2000, LA II (LA ROCK), CEY CITY, KANO, FAB 5 FREDDY, POKE, OBDEWL-X, SELF, TONTO, RASTA, B-SIRIUS, HAZE, KEITH HARING, KENNY SCHARF, RAZOR, CAPPO, DONTAY, EZO-ONE, ERO, ZEPHYR, REVOLT, OZ, LIZ+VAL, RASTA, NRG, TFP, ALI, OZ, ON II, 51X, ROZIE IBM, IBMAX, YES ONE, BUS 129, STASH, NOC, CRASH, DELTA.
