Spanish born Juan Gil Garcia (1976-1932) is renown for his vast quantity of paintings with themes of flowers and fruits, expressing the opulence and fertility of his region through rich colors and textures. " Mangos Y Congos" (1925) is iconic of the artists naturalistic sensual representation, in excellent condition measuring 18 x 40.2 inches (45.7 x 102.1 cm), with larger approximated framed dimensions. The artist has shown internationally in such exhibitions as the Fine Arts Salon in Havana, the Museu de Arte Colonial in Havana, and in galleries and Museums like the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana and the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts and Sciences in Florida. He is also included in several permanent collections throughout the US.
