This screen print on plywood is hand SIGNED by Joseph Beuys, From the portfolio titled Contemporary Archeology. 'From source to use' Pandora Part One; print is from the special edition of 100 copies (not in trade) specifically for the artists and publisher (total edition was 200); published by Bebert, Rotterdam 1985; full size: 12-3/4 x 9-3/4in & 1/16thick (32,5 x 25 cms.); diptych screen-printed on plywood (executed in black and white), signed & numbered in pencil at bottom left, and in addition the artist drew by hand a small pencil drawing of his famous hat right above his signature; the tiny drawing size: 1-3/4x 1-3/4in. (2,5 x 2,5 cms.); as issued by publisher there is a small scanner label on the back with the numbers: "24787888"; Slight bow with age, does not lay flat; otherwise in excellent condition.
