Lot Details

"Red Building with Four Windows" (2012) is a stunning realist oil painting by internationally acclaimed Contemporary American painter, John Aquilino, known for his colorful oil paintings that celebrate the urban landscape. Dimensions: 30 x 40 inches (76.2 x 101.6 cm), in excellent condition. Framed in the artist's white wood frame (see images). This work is a colorful snapshot of city architecture, where human presence is intentionally absent, with a composition based on definite areas of bright colors and patterns determined by light and shadows and the relationship of one building to another.
