Pair of delicate, bright etchings, both hand-colored. Pochoir is a hand stenciling technique refined by the French in the late 19th century to add color to pre-existing prints or to build an image entirely in the stencil technique. Rosenquist used the pochoir process to enhance the strong line of his intaglio plates.
