Lot Details

George Hoyningen-Huene was a notable fashion photographer during the 1920’s and 1930’s, working for French Vogue for many years, before relocating from France to New York, to work for Harper’s Bazaar. Hoyningen-Huene went on to work in Hollywood, photographing numerous celebrities and working on films including the 1954 Judy Garland film, “A Star is Born.”

This photo of June Vincent was taken by Hoyningen-Huene for Harper's Bazaar and dates to the late 1930s to early 1940s.
