Wind Carved (Monument Valley), 1981: ed. of 25; 10.9 x 17.9 inches (27.7 x 45.5 cm). Signed, titled and numbered in pencil.

Gene Kloss was a self taught printmaker who used her technical ability to produce a prolific amount of work dealing with the Southwest. During the Depression, Kloss lived in Taos and created work for the New Deal Public Works of Art Project in 1934. Her work is in the collections of the University Art Museum, NM, the New York Public Library, Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC and many others.
