It was created in 9 runs from 8 plates and 1 screen on Arches paper and is hand signed and numbered from the edition of only 100. It is fully referenced in the catalogue raisonne of Frank Stella’s prints by Richard H. Axsom. According to the 1983 raisonne, this work has been exhibited at the Kunstalle in Basel, Brown University, and the University of Michigan, and has since been included in many other print retrospectives of Stella's work. Moultonboro is a city in New Hampshire that features a scenic "Castle in the Clouds" and is the former retreat of famed poet Robert Frost.
