This abstract vibrant watercolor by Eva Lundsager is emblematic of the artist's oeuvre of patterned detailing and subtle hues. The artist explores the various viscosity and physical processes of painting, invigorating life and movement in a manner of controlled chaos. This piece is in excellent condition with paper size measuring 26 x 19 inches and plate size 12 x 8 inches. Work by the artists is included in an exhibition at Phillips de Pury & Company "Watercolors" currently on view in New York until October 19th.

Lundsager was born in Buffalo, New York and received her BA from the University of Maryland in 1984 and MA from Hunter College in 1988. in 1996 the artist received the Guggenheim Fellowship and the Penny McCall Foundation award in 2003. Her work is highly sought after, and has been exhibited at the Jack Tilton Gallery, the New Museum of Contemporary art, and the Greenberg Van Doren Gallery all in New York, as well as the Thomas von Lintel Gallery in Munich, Germany, The Daum Museum of Contemporary art in Missouri and the is represented by Greenberg Van Doren Galleryl and the Whanki Museum in Seoul Korea. The artist currently lives and works in St. Louis, MO.
