Egon Schiele (1890-1918) was an Expressionist figurative artist in Vienna, Prague and Budapest during the turn of the century. The Vienna Secessionist artist was influenced by Gustav Klimt, whom he met in 1909 Vienna, at a time when Klimt exhibited along with Edvard Munch and Vincent van Gogh.
