“Goodbye to the Sleepless Night No. 1” (2008) is a stunning figurative silkscreen print in colors that represents the very best of the highly expressionistic and extremely dynamic figurative paintings by famed Chinese Contemporary artist, Deng Jianjin (China, b. 1961) Deng's iconic dream-like works intentionally blur the lines between civility and rebellion, private and public, with a focus on sexually charged situations. Deng strives to be controversial, pushing the limits of taboo and morality within his own Culture. This print is the formal AP from an edition of 69, measures 33.45 x 26.77 inches, (85cm x 68 cm) and is in excellent condition.

Deng Jianjin was born in Guangdong Province, China, and graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic College, Jiangxi Province. His works are held in the permanent collections of the Singapore Art Museum, Duolun Modern Art Museum, China, and Guangzhou Art Museum, China, amongst others. The artist is exhibited and represented by top galleries in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Deng Jianjin currently lives and in Guangzhou, China.
