With a vivid arrangement of color and imagery, this mixed media on canvas perfectly capture’s the street artist Dain's iconic style. Repetitively placing the image of a person in a hazmat suit, Dain goes on to juxtapose his monochromatic form against a barrage of pink and blue splashes to create a truly dynamic work.

Known for his insertion of compelling portrait’s throughout New York City’s urban landscape, elusive street artist Dain has been an conspicuous part of the graffiti scene for decades. Based in Brooklyn, Dain often employs a variety of collages, silkscreen, spray paint, and wheatpastes in his mixed media works which give a modern twist on urban art. His portraits expose a society saturated with ephemeral beauty, fleeting notions of fame, and tries to capture the embodied expression of his subjects in captivating composite works. Often incorporating thick layers and a kaleidoscopic range of colors, the artist draws inspiration from his childhood as well as his background as a printer to create his distinctive artwork. Dain has recently had shows at Lebenson Gallery (Paris, FR) and Brooklynite Gallery (Brooklyn, NY).
