British artist Cornelia Parker’s work examines globalisation and humanity’s coexistence with nature. She is fascinated by the apocalypse and global warming: subjects she explores in her video piece ‘Chomskian Abstract’ with the theorist Noam Chomsky.

Parker was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1997 and has had solo exhibitions at The Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Turin, the ICA in Philadelphia, the ICA in Boston and the National Art Centre in Tokyo. Her work is included in many international collections, including The Arts Council of England, Tate and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
