A recent work by acclaimed wildstyle graffiti artist COPE2, "BANG BANG" translates elements of the artist's signature freestyle lettering to the canvas, combined with vibrant and expressive paint splatters.

COPE2 (b. Fernando Carlo, 1968, Bronx, NY) is an internationally acclaimed graffiti artist who grew up in the South Bronx, beginning his career as a street artist in the late 1970s. Throwing up his name on various subway lines and writing on permission walls across New York City, he became known for his distinctive lettering and inventive use of color. Over the course of his career, COPE2 has collaborated on projects for Time Magazine, Adidas, and Converse, and has contributed to numerous musical endeavors and video games. He has exhibited at Le Grand Palais, Paris, France; Skalitzers Contemporary Art, Berlin, Germany; Weltkulturerbe Volklinger Hutte, Volklinger, Germany; Maximilian Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; and Project1 Gallery, San Francisco, CA, among many others.
