A wonderful pair of whimsical prints by Claes Oldenburg, with commentary from the artist quoted from his catalog raisonné (see below). Both published by Petersburg Press - London in 1972, from the portfolio, 'Notes in Hand'.
The project was started in 1970 and signed in 1972. Lot comes with the two interleaving title pages with text (see photos).

1) Metamorphic Mouse Heads and Tooth - as Balloons, New Haven, 1969
