For offer here is a rare hand-signed and inscribed postcard by internationally renowned American artist Chuck Close depicting his iconic 1968 self portrait painting at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. It is hand-signed on the recto by the artist in black felt-tip pen.

This piece has excellent provenance. It was part of a single-owner collection amassed by well-known autograph collector Steve Juscik of Indiana who personally wrote to Chuck Close and received in return this boldly signed and dedicated postcard. The collection was sold by a major auction house, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Hand-signed vintage cards like these are quite elusive. As it is signed on the front, this postcard would look excellent floated and framed.
