Lot Details

This original digital pigment print by Chuck Close is hand-signed, numbered, and dated in pencil by the artist. An intimate close-up of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the work conveys the unique warmth, humor, and candor for which the leader is known and loved around the world. "Dalai Lama" comes from a small edition of 30 printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. The artwork is framed in a very heavy-duty, contemporary matte black gessoed frame, recessed and floated on oyster linen matting. Both the artwork and the frame are in mint condition. All framing materials are of archival quality and are 100% acid-free, including UV-protective Plexiglas.
