A wonderful artist catalog by the French New Realist sculptor, César (birth name, César Baldaccini). Published by Galerie Henri Creuzevault, Paris, to accompany the sculptor's solo exhibition there, 'Téte a Tétes', from March - April, 1973.
This work has many parts; one paper catalog of 12 pages filled with a wonderful chronological presentation of portraits of the artist in black and white photographs, from an early age through mid career and an introductory essay by Pierre Restany. Ten plexi works included; nine silver silkscreens on plexi panel and one vacuum-formed white plesi panel, dimensional. Altogether these elements make up the catalog of the exhibition. This work comes in its original cardboard box, with original interleaving tissue and glassine. Dimensions of box: 13 x 9.5 x 2.5 inches. Good condition.
