"Untitled" (2009) is an compelling bronze sculpture of an over-life size bullet, that stands upright as if an idol of worship. The entire surface is beautifully decorated in ancient Cuneiform script by most notable Persian contemporary artist Behdad Lahooti (B. 1976, Tehran, Iran). This sublime work acts as a clever critique on today's global war-obsessed society, and also pays homage to the ancient culture, language, and arts of the Ancient Near East. This sculpture is edition 2 of 5, measures 21.25 x 4.75 x 4.75 inches (54 x 12 x 12 cm) and is in excellent condition.

Behdad Lahooti's work has been the subject of prestigious museum and gallery exhibitions from 2002 to present, including the seminal 2009 exhibition “Iran Inside Out" at Chelsea Museum of Art, New York. The artist has also held exhibitions at Aaran Gallery, Sarv Gallery, Ghanoun Gallery and the Ibn Sina Cultural Center, including “ Iran ; Black Or White ?" in 2010 at Verso Art Contemporary and "Under The Age of 35" in 2009 organized by the Iranian Association at the Artist Forum in Tehran. The artist is a member of Iranian Association of Sculptors.
