"Alice in Land of Iran No. 20" (2011) is a stunning and surreal figurative photograph by one of the most exciting young photographers working today Babak Kazemi (b. 1983, Ahwaz, Iran) . This work belongs to Kazemi's recent and critically acclaimed "Alice in the Land of Iran" Series of photographs that deal with feelings of emotional and physical displacement, and individual as well as cultural identity. The works of Kazemi are inherently political and simultaneously, and always deeply personal. This photograph is edition 5 of 6, measures 27.56 x 39.37 inches (70 x 100 cm), is unframed, and in excellent condition.
