Lot Details

Japanese beauty Sachiko Goodman was in her 30s when Warhol painted her portrait. She recalled that Warhol was a shy man, but she "loved him as a person." In addition to the canvas portrait, Warhol created a rare silkscreen on paper, in an edition of only 7. This is a printer's proof, dedicated to the printer Rupert Smith, aside from the edition.

With the Martin Lawrence Certificate of Authenticity on the back.
