Spectacular and unique, this silvery toned chrysanthemum on gold paper is perfect for the holiday season. Acquired directly from the Estate of Andy Warhol.

Originally commissioned by Gendai Hanga Center, Tokyo, Japan, the chrysanthemum is on the crest and official seal of the Emperor. "Kiku" means chrysanthemum in Japanese and is the highest order of Chivalry in Japan, which has an official National Chrysanthemum Day, also called the Festival of Happiness.
