Lot Details

An iconic work by Warhol from 1964, "Flowers" is based upon a photograph of hibiscus flowers by Patricia Caulfield in "Modern Photography" from June of the same year. Unmistakably Warhol, this work, despite its age, is in excellent condition.

This is the original flower print that Warhol made, and it is extremely rare, especially in perfect condition. This is a must-have piece for any serious Pop Art collector, and this particular impression is beautiful and bright, in mint condition. It is accompanied by an authentication letter from the Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board that is signed by an authorized representative of the board. The work comes beautifully framed in a shadowbox frame measuring 32 x 31.5 x 2.25 inches (81.3 x 80 x 5.7 cm).
