Lot Details

The classic "Flower" image by Andy Warhol that continues to signify the essence of Pop. The use of silkscreen (considered to be an industrial technique at the time, never used for fine art printing) as well as taking this previously sentimental subject of a flower still life and turning it into the height of chic, was Warhol's genius, replicated by his disciples, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst.

This piece is beautifully framed with a window on the verso to view the signature and edition number. It includes the label from the Harcus-Krakow gallery.
